This is the country by country graph showing the “doubling rate” for cumulative Coronavirus cases.

Countries on the left have the fastest doubling times. In other words, the countries on the left have the most new cases in the fastest amount of time.
The United States has the fastest doubling time in the world. We went from 100 cases to 50,000 cases in 20 days.
That means that we experienced a doubling of cases nine times in 25 days.
So what, you say? Go get a calculator. Type in “50,000”, and multiply that by 2. Do that 9 times.
If we experience another 9 doublings of cases at that rate, we will have 25,600,000 Coronavirus cases in less than a month.
